Meet the team

John Ydlibi
Acting Chair

John is the Chair of CPRE Derbyshire. A chartered accountant, recently retired, he worked for Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace for 30 years. John loves the countryside and is a member of the RSPB, Derbyshire Wildlife Trust and the National Trust.

Karen Bradley
Acting Secretary

Karen is the Secretary of CPRE Derbyshire. Lifelong banker then maths teacher, she is now retired and enjoys walking her dog and wildlife-watching. Karen discovered close alignment with CPRE values by working in a local group challenging a major planning application in nearby countryside.

Steven Kerr
Treasurer

Until retirement, Steven served as Senior Vice President Finance and partner of one of the largest accounting and consulting firm in Canada.  There he had wide-ranging responsibilities well beyond accounting, including merger analysis and business advice.

Bettina Lange
Staff: Policy Adviser (p/t)

Bettina has been campaigning to achieve greater environmental and social sustainability since 1992.  She has worked for CPRE since 2000, first at regional level and more recently for Nottinghamshire.  Bettina is a transport and policy consultant and advisor and, when not working for CPRE, she is a lecturer in German and philosophy. She is also a researcher and is currently developing philosophical ideas for a fairer transport system. Her leisure interests include walking.

Peter Fox

Peter is the new social media volunteer for CPRE Nottinghamshire.
